What is Prime Subscription Plan?

Subscription plans are a bundle of benefits which will help retailers in creating an additional revenue stream by offering the same services that they currently do.

Who all are eligible to purchase a Prime Subscription plan?

All active retailers are eligible for this subscription

How can I subscribe to the Prime Subscription plan?

You can subscribe the plans from the Airtel Payments Bank Tez Portal / Mitra app

What type of Prime Subscription plans can I opt for?

There are 3 types of subscription plans that are being offered – Silver, Gold and Platinum

How long will the Prime Subscription be active?

Once you subscribe to a plan, the additional incentives will be applicable for 365 days from the date of start of subscription. You can opt for auto renewal of the plan in case you wish to continue availing the additional benefits for longer.

How can I contact Airtel Payments Bank if I have any concerns regarding my Prime Subscription plan?

As a subscriber, you will get access to priority support services from Airtel Payments Bank. You may call us at 12144 or write to us at channelcare@airtelbank.com for any queries. You can also connect with your area bank representative.

On which services will I get extra commission?

The extra commission is applicable on the following – DMT, AePS, MATM, SBA account opening, Gold Loans and on Customer Monthly Average Balance Growth.

What will be frequency of Prime Subscription plan?

Once a year from the last charges paid

Can I upgrade to a different plan after purchasing a Prime Subscription plan?

Yes, you can. All retailers who subscribe to the Silver & Gold plans will have the option to upgrade their plan at any time.

Can I opt for auto renewal of the Prime Subscription plan that I purchase?

Yes, you can. You can select the option for auto renewal while making payment for a plan. Selecting this option will ensure that your subscription benefits continue after one year. Correspondingly, the plan charges will be deducted from your mCash balance at the end of one year from the date of purchase.

What will happen one year after I purchase a Prime Subscription plan?

For retailers who have not opted for auto renewal facility, after one year the commission payments will be made as per the base commission structure. For those retailers who have opted for auto renewal facility, after one year the commission payments will continue to be as per the details laid out in the subscription plan.

Am I allowed to downgrade my Prime Subscription plan?

No, this facility is not available.

Will I get a refund if I purchase a Prime Subscription plan and later decide that I am not interested?

Unfortunately, the facility to cancel a plan after purchasing is not available.

When will I get the extra commission if I purchase a Prime Subscription plan?

The commission payments will be as per the current schedule. The payments will be made on the next day (D+1). The extra commission that you earn will also get along with the basic commission.

Can retailer take Prime Subscription during Onboarding flow?

No, Subscriptions at the time of onboarding are not in scope in MVP or Phase 1

What will be duration of a Prime Subscription plan?

For retailers who have not opted for auto renewal facility, after one year the commission payments will be as per the old commission structure and the subscription plan will lapse. For those retailers who have opted for auto renewal facility, after one year the commission payments will continue to be as per the details laid out in the subscription plan. The subscription plan will continue to be active as long as the retailer does not opt out of the auto renewal facility.

What happens if the Prime Subscription plan purchased by me is terminated in the middle of the one year cycle?

Don’t worry. Retailers subscribed to an existing plan will continue to get the promised benefits for the one year period. You may opt for another plan at the end of the year.

What to do if a plan is terminated or its terms changed in the middle of the cycle?

Retailers subscribed to an existing plan will continue to get those promised benefits. Auto-renewal to be switched off from BE and retailer has to choose a new plan next year

I have been re-onboarded as a retailer. Will my previous subscription plan still be active?

No, you will be required to subscribe to the plan again in case you have been re-onboarded as an Airtel Payments Bank retailer.
